The Food and Beverage Manager organizes all the activities related to accommodation facilities’ catering and food supplies. His competences are ample, from the coordination of human resources from selection to training, to the coordination of the work teams; he is in charge of the purchasing for his sector and of regulating the safety and tutelage of his workers. The Food and Beverage Manger is a very important figure since it is one of the closest collaborators of the General Manager within accommodations characterized by high congressional and catering volumes, and he can even take charge of the vice-directory.
