Who is the Sales & Marketing Manager and what does he do?
Marketing strategy is a really important component of the business of a hotel. Acquisition and loyalty of customers, stipulation of contracts with tour operators, marketing management, analysis of competitors, supervision of rates and reservations, planning and promotion of offers proposed by the structure and its individual departments. The Sales & Marketing Manager coordinates and supervises every strategy and every marketing action, it’s a fundamental figure in the organization chart of large structures.
The required skills
He must perfectly know the reference market and competitors, direct and indirect, have high marketing skills (digital and offline) to be able to plan the most effective and innovative strategies. A strong analytical ability and legal, accounting, and administrative knowledge are also required.
