Luxurious 5-star hotel in the heart of Florence offers an internship opportunity as Food & Beverage Assistant.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Learning the various types of dining and service provided in the different dining outlets within the resort
• Supporting Food & Beverage management in office secretarial tasks (e.g., printing and translating menus, managing reservations and correspondence, preparing F&B reports containing data on consumed dishes and beverages and cellar stocks, assisting in compiling commercial proposals and managing purchases for the department, inputting new menu items into the F&B PMS, etc.)
• Assisting colleagues in operational tasks in the outlets by welcoming guests to the dining outlet and assisting in service
• Assisting the Banqueting Manager in organizing service orders for meetings and events

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of Italian and English language
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
• Excellent teamwork and guest anticipation skills
• Punctuality, good organization, and communication skills

Proficiency in a third foreign language would be an advantage.
